This is one of a series of artworks I did parodying various products.

The idea was inspired by the Wacky Packs of the seventies.

Wacky Packs mocked name products, like Weakies for Wheaties and ran from 1973-1976.
They came in packs of two, with a puzzle piece and a stick of gum.

The text on the iron reads:
Sunburn Scream Master (Parody on Sunbeam Steam Master)

The text on the dial reads:
left: Third Degree Burns
Right: Second degree burns

The text on the label reads:
Remove for a good time
Warning:
Fabrics, clothing & even inflammable materials will
Ignite if placed against this appliance.

Warning
If the supply cord of this appliance is damaged
Or repair is required, try doing it yourself,
Before wasting a professional electrician’s time.
No special purpose tools are required.
