This is an image inspired by the child abuse that was denied or disregarded by the Catholic church for so many years. The original image of the gravestone, encompassing Jesus, was taken in a graveyard I discovered while touring in Canada. I added the baby.

The title Jesus Wept is recorded in the Gospel of John and indicates that sorrow is something that needs to be felt.

The added text, imbedded in the bottom of the gravestone, is from the Song, In Bed by Rare Earth. It reads:
Into the world a child is born, a child with no past. But in his eyes a fear is seen, a fear, I fear, will last.
