The knight
he rode
his faithful steed
through torrid jungle
at full speed

He had a vision in his mind
A princess from another time…

He found her there beneath a star
He stood and watched her from afar…

He wooed her with his knightly charms
and vowed protection from worldly harms…

But something happened along the way
Some ancient cynics are inclined to say
she would have done better to lose her life
before changing her title from ‘princess’ to ‘wife’.
