This is the one of twelve images I created during my travels through Japan.

Kawazu is a small village, thats local economy is based on farming and tourism centered on hot spring resorts. What I wanted to capture, while traveling through, was the old style homes still populating the area.

I have used a stippling method, of small dots, applied by a felt pen, to create the original drawing that is used for the giclée process.
