Title: Boat Shed, Hiroshima
Date: 1994
Medium: Giclée on Paper
Size: 38cm x 27cm
Edition: 99
This is the one of twelve images I created during my travels through Japan.
This image was inspired by a boat shed that I saw on the Ota river.
I arranged the composition so that the boats form a triangular shape to lead the viewer's eye to the shed, at the top of the artwork.
I have used a stippling method, of small dots, applied by a felt pen, to create the original drawing that is used for the giclée process.
