This is the first of four images I did on fruit. This one is an image based on Eve and the fruit of the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil.

Someone once told me that people always assumed the fruit was an apple, but in fact it was a pear.

So, I thought maybe people had the two mixed up all these years.

Layered within the artwork is an image of a Celtic cross, representing the religious aspect, as well as text relating the history of the pear.
