This image was inspired by a trip to Araluen Botanic Park in Roleystone, Western Australia.
At first I was interested in the beautiful flowers, especially the Lillies. However, while capturing the flora, I also noticed a feral cat ,behind a broken tree branch, who seemed to be interested in my endeavours. So, I captured a photo of it.
This led me to start looking more deeply into the vegetation, where I observed other insects, including a dragonfly. At this point, I finally began to appreciate the surroundings, that allowed the Lillies to take center stage and how unified nature really is, weeds and all.
